Mela A. Nunghe (Esq)
Mela is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) with over 35 years of experience and has at various times served on Boards and Committees. He also served as the Chairman, National Council, Missions Supporters League (MSL), Nigeria. He has also served as Chairman, Board of Reference Bethany Christian Academy (BCA), Barkin Ladi, Plateau State, Board Member, The Leprosy Mission of Nigeria (TLMN), Jos, Plateau State.
He held the positions of Chairman Nigeria Bar Association, Abuja Branch- 1996, Secretary, Nigeria Bar Association, Abuja Branch- 1997 and is a member of, International Bar Association, Member, International Association of Debt Management Lawyers, Member Jaycees International, Member, Christian Lawyers Association of Nigeria (CLASFON).
Mela has attended numerous seminars and workshops within and outside Nigeria. Some of which include: Negotiation of Civil Contracts by UNCTC/Federal Ministry of Justice, Lagos, Drafting and Negotiation of International Contracts by UNCTC/UNDP/Federal Ministry of Justice, Legal Aspects of Debt Management by Centre for Business Studies, Accra, Ghana, Gender Sensitization for the Legal Profession, Management Development Institute, The Gambia, Special Christian Leadership Training- Haggai Institute, Maui, Hawaii, USA and several others.
Mela served as Honourable Commissioner in charge of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Gombe State and he is married to Ruth and they have four children (2 Girls and 2 Boys). They reside in Abuja, Nigeria.
